OUR STORY
Since 1940
Cleveland Mixer is a brand of Subiaco, Inc., headquartered in Clinton, Connecticut. It’s other brand is Eastern Mixer. Cleveland Mixer began in 1940 in Streetsboro, OH to manufacture process equipment for the rapidly growing munitions industry during World War II.
Eastern Mixer was created one year earlier in 1939 in Norwalk, Connecticut. Its customer base was and continues to be the chemical blending industry.
For 85 (!) years we have continuously served the chemical processing industry, food and beverage processing, petro-chemical and original equipment manufacturers of fluid handling systems in the industrial waste water market. Our agitators are engineered to each customer’s application requirements. Our product line ranges from lab stirrers to top and side entry mixers for 1,000,000 gallon vessels.
We are known for outstanding application engineering, very durable equipment and excellent customer service. We utilize the most advanced simulation tools in computational fluid dynamics, finite element analysis and proprietary Genesis® mixer sizing software. We also use the most advanced computer aided manufacturing software, controlling our CNC mills and lathes. All company welders are certified to AWS and ASME standards.
